By ddemouchet1 on December 17th, 2011 at 3:00 am

Awesomeee! I m getting a turbo grey one.

By 2manyburgers on December 17th, 2011 at 3:48 am

same as the old boring one

@TheDegree777

And about 30 to 40 HP.

Rear-engine (with rear-wheel drive) isn’t practical in a modern car with multiple times the amount of power an original Beetle had, not unless it’s intentional to force extremely sporty and tricky handling (see 911). And unless I’m mistaken, this isn’t a sports car. They still could’ve gone with front-engine + rear-wheel drive though, so that’s a bit of a disappointment.

The car looks sweet btw, much better than the New Beetle and especially less girly.

I have a Beetle :)

By TheDegree777 on December 17th, 2011 at 5:01 am

Not a real beetle. Because the original had the engine in the back not in the
front?

“Thumbs Up” If Your Going To Buy It When It Comes Out…

By ModeratelyLucid on December 17th, 2011 at 10:42 am

Not very attractive. In fact, Volkswagens of late aren’t nearly as nice as the early 2000′s. Very plain, vanilla, generic. Walmart.

better than the previous one
