This thing is awesome it’s like a very cool Honda Accord.

I’d still rather get the M35 Hybrid. Less expensive and faster to 60. Not to mention the average 32mpgs you get.

why slalom so slow?

thats a very sick infiniti

By immortal4942 on December 15th, 2011 at 3:28 pm

nice car but too much wallowing on braking and i still think the 3.7 v6 is good enough

@clarda1 No problem, just a misunderstanding. Cheers. =)

@Johncarson9113 Yes you are correct, I took your example to literal, my apologies.

@clarda1 And when I say reviving the Q45 I dont mean literally bringing back the same car with that exact same engine out put, of course Infinti will revise and completely build the new Q from the ground up. For I all I know it could be called a Q60 or even a new platform name like the QL or JL?? My point is that Infiniti already has plans in the works for a Full size and new flag ship sedan, that’s not an assumption, that’s a fact. They are debuting the new JX 3 row SUV this summer as well.

@Johncarson9113 Yes I understand what “flag ship” implies, but if you have an M56 and a M37, which is the best performer? M56. Obviously the only major difference is the engine, yes the M is the flagship, but the M56 is the better flag ship. Neither are big enough to be a true “flag ship” I agree with you that they should have another car LIKE the q45, but definitly wont be a q45.

By Johncarson9113 on December 15th, 2011 at 6:37 pm

@clarda1 Ok maybe your confused about the definition of “flag ship”. Flag ship means The admiral or most important thing produced by a particular manufacturer/organization. That equates to the M sedan. The M37 and M56 are both Infiniti’s flagship offerings, just cause the M56 has larger engine does not mean it outsells the M37. The flagship vehicle in a manufacturer is there largest offering as a whole. The M is Infinits Flag ship sedan regardless of its engine offerings, M37=M56 same thing.

And the M37 is not the flagship sedan, the M56 is, Yes I know they are made on the same platform etc but the M56 is the flagship over the M37, simply because of the bigger engine. It would be nice if infiniti made a larger car LIKE the Q45, but they are not reviving the Q45.

@Johncarson9113 Yes i know that the Q45 used to be the flagship, you should have caught that by my statement. And yes you are correct about it being larger etc but you missed the point of my comment. They are not reviving the Q45 flagship sedan, although it was beautiful and elegent it was not popular ( I myself really liked the Q45) Infiniti would not revive the VK45DE since the VK56 has replaced it long ago, even the engine in the FX50 is more equiped than the old 4.5L

@clarda1 And Infiniti’s plans are not to replace the M sedan they are simply planning on reviving the Q sedan which would be a new addition to the Infiniti line up. Once the Q comes out Infiniti will have a larger & more equivalent range of vehicles like the ones found in its competitors such as Lexus, Audi, BMW & Mercedes Benz. (Entry lass sedan) Infiniti G37 (Midsized sedan) Infiniti M37 (Potentially: Full size sedan) Infiniti Q

By Johncarson9113 on December 15th, 2011 at 8:17 pm

@clarda1 Not to sound brash but if you knew a thing or two about Infiniti you would know that the Q45 sedan use to be Infiniti’s flag ship sedan back in the day which competed against larger sedans in the luxury market like the Lexus LS, BMW 7 series & Mercedes S-class however sales for that vehicle where not to popular which consequently made Infiniti discontinue the Q45 sedan. The M37 is a midsized sedan not a full size sedan, but as of right now the M37 is Infinits largest & Flag ship sedan.

@Johncarson9113 sorry that makes no sense reguarding the Q45 flagship sedan, The M56 is the flagship for infiniti right now, why would they replace it with a Q45?? smaller displacement and slower! maybe you mean Q56? in which case peoplewould just get it confusedwith the QX56

@924shell LOL are you high?

if i ever buy this car it would be in black!!!!

looks sooo bad ,,, can’t just made it better!!!

infiniti M56s= Porsche Panamera!?

By jojiinchrist on December 15th, 2011 at 10:15 pm

@sambinoven Oh no wonder pricing is different. Im in the USA, the only 3 cars lexus has that are higher priced then the Infiniti’s here are the Lexus LS sedan and Lexus LX, remember Infiniti doesnt have a fullsize flagship sedan yet to compete with the likings of the Mercedes S-class, BMW 7 series and Lexus LS however rumors are they plan on reviving the Q45 flagship sedan!!! Its going to be epic! The Lexus LS prices at $65,000 here and the LX prices at $77,755. The SC starts at $68,000.

@Johncarson9113 i’m not quite sure about the IS350 because the dealer doesn’t sell it where i live (only IS300), but the G37 Sedan is sold for 46195$ !
but regarding the GS460 and the M56.. where i live (UAE, Dubai) the dealer is selling the M56S for 64945$ .. and the Lexus dealer sells the GS460 for 68478$
The M comes with 5 yr warranty while the GS comes with 3 …
not to mention that the M comes with a lot more features than the GS

By Johncarson9113 on December 16th, 2011 at 12:17 am

@sambinoven Um Im pretty sure Infiniti is coming out with the IPL series which will expand to the rest of the line up in 2011, IPL is thier new performance devision (Infiniti performance line) . And not that a higher price factor has anything to do with being a better car but Im pretty sure Infiniti comes in a little more in terms of MSRP next to Lexus, The more common sedan like the GS460 doesnt surpass $60,000 while the Infiniti M56 surpasses $70,000, the IS350 totals out to $44K the G37 $50K
